Bordighera to St Jean Cap Ferrat 12 August

We took a chance and called Cap Ferrat and were given a place for the night. Just over two hours and we arrived at this beautiful spot.
Fond goodbye to Italy. Came to Italy 23 June and leaving today 12 August. Italy has made a good impression with its history and heroes. We have learnt their names from the street names and piazzas; Caesar, Garibaldi, Cavour, Mazzini, Vittorio Emanuele, Andrea Doria to mention a few. We feel that we know quite a bit about the Italian coastline and people living along the coast, and pizza, pasta and gelato. We find the people, friendly, full of humour, elegant, mostly, and beautiful.
Fun having Pete and then Calle with us.
Changing flags outside Menton.
Passing Monte Carlo ...
....... Monaco. No need to stay, been there, done that ....

Lelllebelle on the promenade at St Jean Cap Ferrat. Had lunch with mussels in the restaurant 10 m away and sat next to a couple from Georgia. Fun talking to them.
Left the port and went to the beach.
Here we finally figured out that the meaning of life is to have pebbles between your toes. That's it.
