Pamplona - Toulouse 24 April

So that's over for this time. Anyone's guess when we will continue our pilgrimage! Hermann and Gunilla departed for home, Boutenac-Touvent. Just so wonderful that they could drive all the way to Pamplona.

Spend the last half hour looking for Ernest. King of Pamplona. In front of the bull fighting arena.
Carl and Ernest, together forever.
Wonderful painting in the foyer of the hotel, I think from 1927, of Bull Run spectators.

Back on board  Comfortable Lellebelle after a most exciting walk along the famous El Camino. Impressions along the footpath have been so nicely described by our hosts and fellow pilgrims. A wash for the soul and a challenge to our bodies. The perfect timing for the walk concerning weather and nature. All the freshness of the early spring, flowers and leaves and sheep, horses and cattle feeding on super green grass. The balance was perfect between steady walking and relaxing stops for a coffee and dinners and early to bed in luxurious accommodations. Every pilgrim we met, from all corners of the globe,  were interesting individuals, most of them planning to do the whole Camino. Thanks to Carl and Leslie we completed the 70 km walk in the highest spirit and with great pleasure a gave us such a beautiful memory. Navigare necesse est! Gunilla & Sven
