Roncesvalles - Larasoano 22 April

We believe that it is mostly downhill today, but then it might rain at about 2 pm. We are all set for the 27 km walk to Larasoana.

Carl and Sven still happy after one hour, not so happy after 7 hours.

After 6 hours walking I thought this was Larasoana, but no, still another hour.

Eventually arrived at the Casa Sangalo, in Larasoana, more like a pilgrim place than the last two nights. Surprised the senora by flopping down in her "bar" and before even seeing our rooms, ordering a bottle of Cava. That's how tired we were. It was quite a tough walk today, not only more uphill than expected, but also lots of mud on the downhills.

We were so tired after the long walk we got the Senora to make dinner for us. Good vegetable soup, pork in paprika and tomato sauce and an Ice cream, and into bed.

Pamplona tomorrow, here we come! But we do not know if it is 15 or 22 km, and that's a big difference when you are walking. Bon Camino!
