Fourth birthday in a row away from home! Cape Town, Berlin, Chanakale and now Lyon

What a wonderful place in the centre of Lyon.

Had a wonderful birthday lunch at Brasserie Georges, a restaurant that has been here since 1836. Thanks Carl!

Took a walk around the Confluence Museum.

Saone on the right and Rhone on the left. Only now do we understand that it the Saone that is causing the strong flow in the Rhone. We thought is would be easy going from here, but the Saone is flowing fiercely for the next few days.

Lyon has made a very positive impression on us. Today was Pentecost Monday and we enjoyed another French Sunday. There are so much more to see in Lyon so we will stay awhile and let ourselves be entertained by Lyon.
