Took the opportunity to look in at the church with the stained glass windows, the largest made by Marc Chagall.
In the church, Carl listening to the commentary. Chagall was born in Russia and was an artist, designer and scene designer.
Beautiful stained glass windows on the other side of the church.
We went to the museum where they have this tapestry, the same as in the stained glass window in the United Nations building in New York. This was to honour Dag Hammersköld.
Lovely weather, having a beer before catching the train to Nancy.
Nancy, interesting city, grows on you. Visited the famous Stanislav square.
Found out that Nancy is the home of macarons.
You can only buy one dozen at a time. Oh dear, we have to eat 12!
Rest of the family arrived after 21.00. Hoping for good weather tomorrow
