3. Pharmacies
4. Shoes shops
5. Tabac
Cafes, bistros, brasseries and restaurants are there but not at every corner. Boulangeries and Boucheris are not as frequent as expected. Especeries, Mini and Super markets are hard to find. Often only outside the city centre in big shopping complex.
Markets with all the seasonal vegetables and home made cheeses and sausages only on certain days until 1 o'clock pm. But then we are sailing.
My conclusion is that the French business and marketing people have researched that the people have bad eyes and need designer frame glasses. That they need to borrow money. Imaginary sicknesses provides opportunities for pills and lotions. Nice shoes to walk in and a cigarette in the mouth fills the Frenchman's dream of a full life. Voila!
